The La Sella Golf Resort is a prestigious resort set in the Montgo National park which is about half an hour away. Within this prestigious area of exclusive villas and apartments there is a lovely restaurant and bar area, small supermarket and pharmacy. The nearby 5-start Marriott Hotel is well worth a visit offering a spa, gym, beauty salon, hairdresser, two restaurants and a lively pool bar. There is also free Wi-fi connection within the relaxing lounge areas.

The Northern Costa Blanca is renowned for its natural beauty. The local beaches are some of the best in Europe, and most boast the EU Blue Flag award for beach safety and water quality. The lively resort towns of Denia and Javea are a short drive away, where you will find a full range of water sports and a multitude of quality bars, restaurants and boutique shopping. Immediately off the AP7 highway there is a new shopping centre with free parking. Inland you will discover the fabulous Jalon and Orba valleys, full of grape vines, orange groves, hilltop villages and a taste of old Spain. More lively coastal towns such as Moraira, Calpe, Altea and Benidorm with its huge theme park ‘Terramitica’, sea life centre and water parks are less than an half hours drive.

From Denia it is possible to catch the morning ferry to the Balearic Islands and spend the day in Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca or Formentera from the port. Fishing trips also run from the harbour, where they have a twice weekly fish market. Locally, there are Go-Karting and Quad-Biking facilities. With over 20km of sandy beach in the Denia area you are sure to find a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the sun. The coast road (N332) is full of small traditional Spanish towns with beautiful squares, churches, and fantastic views of the sea or you can drive inland into the mountains through the orange groves and visit attractions such as the amazing natural falls ‘Fonts D’Algar’ or the famous ‘eagles nest’ Moorish fortress at Guadalest dating back to 1715. The cities of Alicante and Valencia are around 1 hours drive and are a fantastic day out.
