Valencia Spain info

Valencia is situated in the centre of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline overlooking the spacious Gulf of Valencia, and backed by mountains and rolling plains leading to the lands of Aragon and Castile-La Mancha. It is opposite the Balearic islands and equal distance from Madrid and Barcelona. Its history, extending back over 2000 years, has been deeply marked by Roman and Arab cultures. Valencia offers a wide and varied range of activities. Outdoor life is a very high priority in Valencia, the beaches can be enjoyed thanks to year-round mild weather with an average 18º C. An incredibly exciting place to visit, Valencia is an international city with excellent cultural, architectural and entertaining delights and famous for its colourful pottery and ceramics. There is a range of museums, art galleries, leisure and recreational complexes. “No Limit to the Fun” would be a good slogan for Valencias entertainment menu including cinemas, bowling centre, outdoor shopping, four golf courses, different beach activities, eating out and the famous Bullfights and Soccer matches. City boasts an enchanting nightlife, with open-air discos and Monte Picayo Casino.
